Data collection

MailProbe does not collect, store, or transmit personal data. The service operates without user accounts, logins, or registration.

Probe data

Each SMTP probe is ephemeral. The hostname and port you enter are sent directly to the probe server, the result is returned, and no record is kept server-side. There is no database, no logging of hostnames, and no retention of probe results.

Local storage

The App page saves your recent probe hostnames in your browser's localStorage so you can re-run them. This data is stored in your browser only and is never transmitted to any server. You can clear this history at any time using the Clear button on the App page.

Cookies

MailProbe does not use tracking cookies, analytics scripts, or third-party embeds. The site is served from a Cloudflare Worker; Cloudflare may set a standard session cookie required for CDN operation (cf_clearance, __cf_bm) but these are technical necessities, not tracking mechanisms.

Third-party services

The site loads typefaces from Google Fonts. Google may receive your IP address as part of the font request. The page does not load Google Analytics, advertising scripts, or any other external tracking resources.

Data sharing

MailProbe does not sell, rent, or share any data — because there is nothing to share. No personal data is collected.

Changes

This policy may be updated if the service changes. Any changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
